About Us

Our mission is preserve family history!

In bygone days people would sit around and tell stories and pass the family history down from one generation to the next. But in these times when everything is digital and full speed ahead we may find ourselves to busy to reminisce with Grandpa or have coffee with Nonnie and our history will quickly disappear.

We can do something about that! Johns Family Photograhy's mission is to uncover your family's history, dig it out of the photo box and put it where it will last a long, long time! We can create a beautiful photo album for you with your family story along side the photos!

I had a chance to look at the CD of photos you took for Mom's 90th Birthday celebration and they are awesome!!! I can't believe how many photos you took! You really captured the joy of the occasion! Mom is still talking about it!!! I was able to mingle and help Mom and my sisters and just leave everything in your capable hands, knowing you'd do a terrific job. I'm having 118 made into photographs and can't wait to get them. Thanks again for all your hard work! You are a pro and the pictures prove it!!! Thanks a million!

Wow! What a great job. They all came out pretty good. There’s a few that I really like, especially the one of Liam and I. So how to I select them and can you Photoshop the one I select for my “official” head-shot? There’s also one of Liam that I would like.

Hello Dream Team,

I wanted to take a minute to thank you from the very bottom of my heart for your hard work, dedication and belief in our little masterpiece affectionately known as "Assassin Emeritus". I knew from the moment I read the the script that it was a truly special story, and one that demanded to be told. After spending time getting to know Kevin (over Skype 11 1/2 hours away), and hearing his creative thoughts about the direction of the piece - I was even more convinced. I had to fight pretty hard to get the script, and had to fight pretty hard for some of you too! All of the fighting, all of the tears, sunburns, heat, rain, etc. were all worth it the end that night when we saw Kevin's story, and Vic's interpretation come to life on the big screen at the Kiva. The audience LOVED IT! You are all amazing , and every day I was impressed with your strength of character, your commitment to your work and your ingenious ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles. We couldn't have done it without each and every one of you. So really, hear me when I say - THANK YOU.

I also want to thank all of your temporarily neglected loved ones that were at times left without their due attention and love. It's easy to lose sight of what is important to us in the throws of production - but that is no excuse to turn our backs on the people that drive us, motivate us and inspire us to tell our stories. So to them - I say 'sorry', and 'thank you' for still loving us in the end. :)

You should be very excited about this. What a great project and fun work. I watched the movie and thought it was really good. It was fun to see the photos after watching the movie.

Another great batch of photos!!! Thanks so much! I’m going to be able to use several of these in my next newsletter, as well as 3 or 4 in my quarterly prayer letter that I send out to donors. It’s so fun seeing all the intensity, the laughter and the networking that goes on during these luncheons! You do a great job of capturing that!

2 things I could still really use: some great “group” shots of the women laughing at what they’re hearing, and some good “straight on” photos of the speaker in action. The ones of Brandi this month are mostly from the side. I’m sure it’s tough for you to be in the right spot at the right moment to capture the perfect shot of the speaker, and Brandi wasn’t highly animated so it’s hard to get energy in the photo. Maybe we’ll even need to get the speakers to do some “posed” action shots after the luncheon.

I love the cute captions! Keep doing that! I really liked the photos with the waiter and the pointed finger. That was funny!!!

Hey all,

After touring the great northern New Mexico and falling in love with it, I'm back and just wanted to thank all of you for a phenomenal experience. You guys did a great job and were fun and pleasant to work with. To me there's nothing better than that - funny, nice people who are great at their jobs. I'm really proud of what we ended up with, and Duke City is just the start of its screening life. And I echo what Victor said when he won the award -- I've never worked with a better group of people.

I actually found a couple of me that might work to send to Nav headquarters, but wow, I must be quite the frustrating subject to photo. Could I have made any more sour faces??? I’m hopeless!!!!
